Our Evaluation Services
Every evaluation begins with a question. Our role is to help you find the answers — and understand what they mean.
Psychoeducational Evaluations
A comprehensive assessment of cognitive abilities, academic achievement, attention and executive functioning, and other relevant areas to understand a student's unique learning profile.
ADHD Evaluations
A comprehensive evaluation of attention, executive functioning, and related areas to better understand how these factors may affect learning and everyday functioning.
Autism Evaluations
An educationally focused evaluation designed to understand how characteristics associated with autism may affect learning, school functioning, and educational needs.
Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
Independent evaluations that provide an additional perspective on a student's strengths, needs, learning profile, and educational programming.
What is a psychoeducational evaluation?
A psychoeducational evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of a student's cognitive abilities, academic skills, attention, executive functioning, and social-emotional functioning. Evaluations are conducted by a licensed educational psychologist using standardized, research-based assessment tools.
The goal is not simply to identify what is difficult — it is to build a complete, nuanced picture of how your child learns, where they excel, and where they need support. That picture becomes the foundation for meaningful, targeted intervention.
Who may benefit from an evaluation?
Students struggling in school
When a child, adolescent, or young adult is working hard but not making expected progress in reading, writing, or math, an evaluation can identify the underlying reasons and point toward effective support.
Students with attention difficulties
Attention challenges can look very different across ages and individuals. An evaluation provides a thorough, nuanced assessment that goes beyond a simple checklist.
Twice-exceptional learners
Some students are both gifted and have learning differences — a profile that is often missed. An evaluation can identify this complex pattern and guide appropriate support.
Students with social or emotional concerns
When anxiety, mood, or social difficulties are affecting functioning, an evaluation can help clarify what is driving those challenges and what support may help.
Young adults in transition
College students and young adults navigating new academic demands often benefit from updated evaluations that reflect their current profile and support needs.
What families receive

A feedback session
A dedicated meeting to walk through findings in plain language — so you leave with genuine understanding, not just a document.
School accommodation guidance
Specific recommendations for academic accommodations and supports, written in language schools can act on.
Referral coordination
When additional services are warranted, we provide thoughtful referrals and can coordinate with other providers.
